Hello everyone, hope all is going well! I was able to perform the system requirements tests and my computer seems to be up to the challenge. Here are my results:
I. Web3D Test: Software rendering
Test 1 - FPS were between 22 and 30
Test 2- VRML, I could not get F7 key to display the FPS numbers but I had no problems
Test 3- Followed the directions, entered the information that was required, and got a frame rate of 100. Is that what we were looking for?
II. I had no problem opening the graphic and tiles. I then put it into paint, because I do not have Photoshop on my machine. Next, cropped the picture and uploaded. Believe it or not I have never tasted lobster. I have not received my password for text book, has anyone received thier's yet?

First: selected ctrl & prnt scrn keys to grab the picture.

Went into paint and opened the picture in paint.

Selected the crop key, edit cut, saved file as a Jpeg.

Did the same procedure for the Gif.

And yes, the Jpeg is clearer!

Opened google images, typed in George Bush. Clicked on picture to enlarge. Did a save as to desktop.
Went to start , accessories, paint, open file, and selected file
